Debut beckons for former Arkle hero Footpad Andrew Nelis racing

Former Arkle Trophy winner Footpad could make his debut in the United States this Sunday as he takes his first steps on a road that could lead to a crack at the Grade 1 Iroquois Steeplechase in Nashville on 26 June.

The nine-year-old is entered at the Loudoun Hunt Point to Point at Morven Park, Virginia, where he could make his first appearance for new trainer Jack Fisher and is set to be ridden by Sean McDermott

Trainer Richard Spencer has identified the St Leger at Doncaster as the primary objective for his exciting colt Tyson Fury.
