The BHA is working with international medical supplies company CHB Medical to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to racecourses in order to ensure racing can safely restart on Monday. British racecourses will be stocked with the potentially life-saving equipment, with specialist 'back to racing' packs being distributed for the sport's resumption. The packs include coveralls, face masks, gloves, goggles, hand sanitisers, infrared thermometers and visors. The PPE is sourced internationally and is expected to be delivered to tracks hosting action in the first week of resumption this weekend. The BHA last week released a 33-page document detailing safety guidelines for when racing returns behind closed doors on June 1.
