Even So gave trainer Ger Lyons his second Classic triumph of 2020 with a game success in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks at the Curragh. Stepping up to a mile and a half from 10 furlongs proved no problem to the daughter of Camelot, who got on top in the final furlong to run out a ready winner. Even So (10-1) was ridden by Colin Keane, who partnered the Lyons-trained Siskin to victory in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last month.                Andrew Nelis Racing .

Aidan O’Brien has whittled his team down to four as he goes in search of a sixth  Juddmonte Irish Oaks success on Saturday. Cayenne Pepper  and O'Brien's  Ennistymon  are two of eight fillies declared for the Group One feature, live on Racing TV at 7.15pm on Saturday. The  Jessica Harrington -trained Cayenne Pepper is clear favourite for the  Curragh  Classic with some bookmakers, after running an excellent race in defeat behind the top-class older mare Magical in the Pretty Polly Stakes three weeks ago. The daughter of Australia will step up to a mile and a half for the first time this weekend in the hands of Shane Foley..

Outstanding filly Love will sidestep this weekend’s Juddmonte Irish Oaks and will instead be aimed at next month's Darley Yorkshire Oaks, trainer Aidan O'Brien revealed on Monday. A brilliant winner of the Qipco 1,000 Guineas and Investec Oaks, Love is as short as 7-2 favourite with some firms for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe in October, which O’Brien confirmed was the daughter of Galileo's long-term target.  He said: “Love doesn't run this weekend. She is perfect. What we are thinking at the moment is that she is probably going to go straight to York for the Yorkshire Oaks, and then on to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after that.                         Andrew Nelis racing
