  Owner Philip Reynolds paid an emotional tribute to Presenting Percy as he confirmed his 'horse of a lifetime' has died after suffering from a blood infection. The 10-year-old looked a superstar in the making when producing a scintillating display in the 2018 RSA Chase - his second Cheltenham Festival success, having won the Pertemps Final 12 months earlier. He went on to win a second Galmoy Hurdle the following season, but could finish only eighth when favourite for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, and never quite managed to rediscover his former brilliance.

Owner Philip Reynolds has confirmed his star chaser Presenting Percy will be trained by Gordon Elliott this season, after being moved from Pat Kelly's yard. The nine-year-old is a dual Cheltenham Festival winner, having supplemented his victory in the 2017 Pertemps Final with a brilliant display in the 2018 RSA Chase that saw him move to the head of ante-post lists for the following year's Cheltenham Gold Cup. However, Presenting Percy raced just once prior to his bid for Gold Cup glory - winning the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park - and finished a disappointing eighth in the blue riband, after which he was diagnosed with a back problem..

Presenting percy  in last years Gold cup finished 8th. this season already he has been beaten a number of times, most recently  to Delta Work in the paddy power Irish Gold Cup . PP was beaten by both Kemboy and Delta work , it seems with no excuses this year, he may well have to really put it up now , this may be his last chance of securing the Blueriband . With presenting percy he could spring a surprise once a good horse always a good horse , but I'm looking at the opposition from his side of the pond , and its kemboy  Al bhoum photo...

I've stated from the very start that  a Good RSA novice  is a good yard stick to stick with as a guide  , last year  we had  Topofthegame delta world and santini finishing in the top three !. Irish Gold Cup  Presenting Percy will be making his long awaited appearance in the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardsown on the 3rd of February. Last years RSA winner . Is heading currently the blue ribban market on Cheltenham on the 15th March. Kemboy another notable entry. Willie Mullins charge will give presenting a lot to think of, Patrick Kelly presenting Percy’s trainer. Has been very patient this year with his charge, shrewd trainer who will have.
