Andre Fabre has not ruled out a crack at the Grand Prix de Paris with his unbeaten Baltic Gold. The son of Golden Horn followed up a debut win over 10 furlongs at Compiegne with a win over an extended mile and a half at Deauville. "He will go for a Group race next time, either over a mile and a quarter at Longchamp, the Prix du Prince D'Orange or the Grand Prix de Paris," said Fabre.                  Andrew Nelis Racing .

Plans to allow racegoers to attend the final day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival have been scrapped after the Government announced the cancellation of further pilot events for the return of crowds to sporting venues due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Sussex Downs were due to welcome a crowd of 5,000 on Saturday, which would have been the first time racegoers have been allowed on a racecourse since March. The fixture was selected as part of a series of pilot events, along with two county cricket matches and world championship snooker at The Crucible in Sheffield....                     Andrew Nelis Racing .

York's Juddmonte International remains a "remote possibility" for Andre Fabre's Persian King. Last year's French 2000 Guineas winner claimed another Group One success in the Prix d'Ispahan at Chantilly on Sunday. Having missed the second half of last season, the Kingman colt has gradually returned to peak form and Fabre is eyeing a possible crack at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, with York and the Prix Jacques le Marois a couple of possible options along the way..                      Andrew Nelis Racing .

Victor Ludorum heads three contenders for Andre Fabre in Monday's Poule d'Essai des Poulains, with 11 colts entered in the first French Classic of the year. The Godolphin-owned runner, who was a Group One winner as a juvenile, suffered a surprise defeat on his return at ParisLongchamp earlier this month, but he could still take his chance along with stablemates Alson and Arapaho. Alson was a Group One scorer last year before joining Fabre's team, while Arapaho struck Listed gold on his reappearance earlier this month.

On the first day back of French racing it is no surprise to see Andre Fabre represented with plenty of leading chances. The biggest name among the runners for the 30-time champion trainer is Victor Ludorum, the unbeaten favourite for the French Guineas. The son of Shamardal comes into the season following an impressive win in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere on Arc day. Victor Ludorum is certainly the one to beat in Monday's Prix de Fontainebleau ( 11.55 ) as he looks to enhance his Classic credentials. The mob-handed Fabre is also responsible for the market leader in the French 1,000 Guineas with Tropbeau. Third at Newmarket in the Cheveley Park last time, she takes on key Classic contenders Khayzaraan, Dream And Do and stablemate Tickle Me Green in what looks a fascinating trial ( 12.25 ). Other runners for Fabre to note include smart sprint prospect Duhail ( 9.55 ) and Syrtis, who bids for a first Group-level win in the competitive Prix d'Harcourt ( 1.05 )....
